The idea for Let's go baby was born in 2017, when I travelled to Germany with my four-month-old son and discovered how difficult travelling with a baby could be. From car seat challenges to unsuitable baby equipment at our Airbnb, I experienced firsthand the problems families face when travelling with little ones. After experiencing similar issues in Italy, I thought: if this is a problem for me, surely other families are experiencing it, too.

In 2018, I took the leap, quit my job and officially launched Let's go baby, with one simple goal: to make travelling with children in Portugal easier.

As families began trusting us with more than just baby equipment, our Family Concierge service was born in 2021, helping families with everything from transfers and babysitting to other little details that make a holiday easier.

Since then, my family has grown to three children and so has the business. Our inventory has evolved, our services have expanded and we've reinvented ourselves along the way, always learning from the families we help.

Today, Let's go baby remains a small, independent business, run by me, Vera, and supported by a wonderful part-time team. We've helped over 2,775 families from more than 30 countries and we're proud of how far we've come without losing sight of what matters most: personal service, trust and making family travel a little easier.
